THE STORY BEHIND THE MOT1VATOR

I SPENT YEARS BELIEVING I WAS SOMEONE I WASN’T.

A personal journey of identity, resilience, and the people who helped me see what I couldn’t yet see in myself.

Before there was a brand, there were people who made me feel like I belonged.

As a kid, I struggled to understand my emotions and where I fit. An early diagnosis, which I later learned was inaccurate, shaped how I saw myself. I began to believe my challenges told the whole story.

In third grade, my teacher, Ms. Bitton, gave me a place to reset on hard days. She let me help in her classroom and played records. I still remember “Footloose.” Years later, Ms. Hubbard offered that same steady welcome. My mom kept believing in me when I struggled to believe in myself. Their care didn’t remove every obstacle, but it gave me something to build on: I was more than any label or difficult moment.

As a teenager, I searched for belonging in ways that pulled me away from the person I wanted to become. Coming home and starting again taught me that growth is built through choices, support, and consistency. Therapy, caring for others as a CNA, mentorship, and personal development helped me see that the past can shape you without defining your future.

I started THE MOT1VATOR from that understanding. My family, teachers, and mentors reminded me of my worth before I could fully see it. I want the brand to carry that kind of reminder forward through intentional apparel, honest stories, and community.

Clothing can’t make someone’s choices for them. But a message can start a conversation, stay close through a hard moment, and encourage someone to take the next step.

THE MOT1VATOR is for people choosing who they become, and for those who want to help others do the same.

Your past is part of your story. It is not the author.
You hold the pen.
